The China Scholarship Council is a Chinese government agency providing scholarships to Chinese students for doctoral and postdoctoral studies abroad.
Chinese nationals who wish perform graduate studies in Canada must first be accepted into a qualifying program in Canada.

This scholarship is offered to students who are eligible to apply for a China Scholarship Council Ph.D. scholarship.
Program of Study: 4th-year undergraduate or 1st year Ph.D. or current graduate students in a Master program
Value: CSC scholarship covers flight, accommodations and living expenses; Participating Canadian institution provides award covering tuition fees
Eligibility:
- Citizen of China studying in China or abroad
- Must be in either 4th-year undergraduate or in 1st year of Ph.D. or current graduate in a Master program
How to Apply: To apply for the CSC scholarship, students must have received a formal offer of admission from a Canadian university.
CSC applications intake: March 20 – April 5. Students are encouraged to apply early and must first receive an offer from a Canadian university before applying to CSC.
