Known for its rich history and welcoming community, Moose Jaw in Saskatchewan is one of the 14 Canadian communities participating in the Rural Community Immigration Pilot (RCIP), a program designed to help skilled foreign nationals and their families secure permanent residence.
The RCIP Process: What You Need to Know
The Rural Community Immigration Pilot (RCIP) is an employer-driven, immigration program that provides a pathway to permanent residence for skilled foreign workers who want to live and work in rural and more remote communities. The program is designed to address labour shortages and promote economic growth in these areas.
The core of the program is to match skilled workers with the specific labour needs of the community. Through this pilot, employers can fill vacancies that cannot be met locally, and newcomers can find real opportunities to live, work, and thrive in a welcoming community.
