The Global Talent Stream (GTS) is a dynamic program designed to help Canadian employers hire highly-skilled global talent, enhancing their ability to compete on an international scale. Launched in June 2017 as a two-year pilot program, the GTS is a partnership between Immigration, Refugees and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) and Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC).
Through the program, employers will be able to expedite the process of hiring foreign nationals through the Global Skills Strategy.
The GTS provides an expedited process for hiring foreign nationals, allowing Canadian companies to quickly bring in the skilled workers they need to drive innovation and growth. Through the Global Skills Strategy, the GTS aims to streamline the immigration process, making it faster and more efficient for employers to access top global talent.
