Changes to the Quebec Skilled Worker Program Intake

Quebec’s Immigration Ministry, the Ministère de l’Immigration, et de la Diversité et de l’Inclusion (MIDI), recently announced a new Expression of Interest system to manage applications under the Quebec Skilled Worker Program.

This new Expression of Interest system (Déclaration d’intérêt) will be similar to the current Express Entry system used to manage application under the Federal Economic Classes.

Candidates who are temporary residents of Quebec and who have job offers from a Quebec Employer may still continue to apply under application portal, which is done on a first-come first served basis, until the new system is in place.

We will continue to wait for updates on specifics and roll out timeframe of Quebec’s new Expression of Interest system.
