New Brunswick Closed Express Entry Stream After Reaching 2024 Allocation Limit
New Brunswick Closed Express Entry Stream After Reaching 2024 Allocation Limit
The New Brunswick Express Entry stream, a key pathway for skilled workers to immigrate to New Brunswick, is paused the issuance of new Invitations to Apply (ITAs) for the remainder of the year. This pause, effective August 16, 2024, came as the program announced it has reached its full allocation for 2024.
What Does the Pause Mean for Existing Applicants?
- Applications Submitted Before August 16, 2024: Applicants who have fully submitted their applications before this date, will see their applications continue to be processed as usual. This means that these candidates don’t need to worry about the pause affecting their existing submissions. The processing of these applications will proceed according to the existing timelines.
- Candidates Who Have Already Received an ITA: Candidates who have received an ITA before August 16, 2024, are still invited to submit their complete application for nomination to the program. This pause does not impact their ability to continue with their immigration process. These candidates should ensure they meet all the deadlines and requirements for their applications for provincial nomination to move forward successfully.
